Mass DiGi Summer Innovation Program

The 2019 MassDiGI Summer Innovation Program (SIP) is a twelve-week internship program that includes the mentoring, guidance, housing, stipends and game development tools to help student teams finalize an original digital game and prepare it for launch.

The application period will close March 20, 2019 at 11:59 pm ET. Successful applicants will be informed on or before March 31, 2019 at 11:59 pm ET.

The Summer Innovation Program is open to students who will be entering their sophomore, junior or senior year at a regionally-accredited college or university.* Students must be able to commit full-time to a typical work week for the entire duration of program – from May 14 to August 11, 2019.

Groove Jones is a VR studio in Dallas. They have several summer internships. These are UNPAID INTERNSHIPS so be aware of this, but if you are able with your summer plans, work unpaid, this could possibly be a good opportnity.

Hi-Rez Studios has internships open now for summer

Hi-Rez Studios, in Alpharetta, GA,  has internship opportunities on several games and for multiple positions . The applications are due by the end of February and they will let applicants know of their decisions by beginning of April.

Art, Programming, Audio, Design, QA….

Their internships are open for Juniors, Seniors and recent grads…I don’t know if they are open for students who are entering Juniors. It is worth checking with them if this is of interest to you.
