The Arkansas Arts Council opens up Individual Artist Fellowships every year for up to 9 grants of $4,000 each. They limit who can apply from different disciplines within three arts categories, which changes yearly.

Eligibility:
The Batesville Area Arts Council’s 2020 National Juried Exhibition is open to all artists 18 and older working in 2D media. Entries must be original works created within the last 5 years. Reproductions not allowed. Works previously exhibited at the BAAC Gallery on Main are ineligible. Artists may submit up to three images with an entry fee of $25 ($20 for BAAC members). Two additional images may be submitted for an additional $5 each. Accepted works will be exhibited at the BAAC Gallery on Main (Batesville, AR) April 21 – June 6, 2020.

Submission Guidelines:
All work must weigh less than 60 lbs and measure no larger than 60” on the longest dimension. Work must be available for the duration of the exhibition. Accepted work must arrive to the BAAC Gallery on Main by April 18, 2020. Works must arrive exhibition ready, complete with hanging wire. No saw-tooth hangers or clip frames will be accepted. Works that differ significantly from the entry may be disqualified. Works may be shipped to or hand delivered to the BAAC Gallery on Main at 226 E Main Street, Batesville, AR 72501. Those being shipped must use plexiglass or acrylic, no glass. Work must use a reusable container and be accompanied by a prepaid return shipping label. Work will be repackaged and shipped back to the artist at the close of the exhibition. Shipment by UPS or USPS only. Hand delivered works not picked up by June 13, 2020 will become the property of the Batesville Area Arts Council.
Fujifilm is sponsoring an art competition for college students with a primary focus on photography or video.
“If you are currently an active college student in the US, enter our Students of Storytelling contest by submitting an idea for a story, that can be depicted through images or video, and we could be the ones to help to bring your story to life!” NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Enter 04/01/20 through 05/31/20 by submitting a proposed “story” that can be told with images or video, as well as the required entry form found at http://www.StudentsOfStorytelling.com. “Story” submission may be in text, image or video format, but must meet criteria outlined in the Contest Rules. Must be 18, and a current U.S. college student to enter. FL Residents not eligible. A total of 30 contest winners will be selected from “story” submissions received, based upon judging criteria outlined in the Rules
