2019 BLOOM! Juried Exhibit @ the RW Norton Gallery in Shreveport

Submission Deadline: 3 February 2019

This spring, an explosion of color will rock the Norton inside and out. Just as our botanical gardens burst forth with blossoms, our annual BLOOM! Exhibit will bestow upon us and exhibit of canvases crowded with pigmented petals. We invite all artists, local, regional, and national to submit to this exhibit. The rules, regulations and application can be found below.

Threadless is a t-shirt design site: Threadless is accepting artwork for the following design challenges: Patterns, due November 23; and Plant Life, due November 30; and Resolutions, due December 7.

The 2019 Redbubble Residency is now accepting applications through today, November 23. Pitch a project that you could work on for 6 months in either San Francisco, CA or Melbourne, Australia. Relocation and living costs are not covered, but residents do receive $3,000/month.

The Votes for Women anthology is accepting portfolio submissions from “creators who identify as female and have been affected by [the 19th amendment]” through November 30.

The Palos Verdes Art Center in Los Angeles, CA is seeking proposals from artists for its 2019 building wrap exhibition by December 1. The selected artist will receive $5000 and will be featured in the gallery.

Zine-O-Matic, a zine subscription service, is open for zine submissions through December 1.

The Kodansha Sirius & Light Novel Editorial Department Manga Award is accepting submissions from artists through January 16, 2019. 5 winners will receive 100,000 yen, have an editor assigned to them, and will debut as an artist drawing either original manga or a manga adaptation of a light novel. Submissions in English, Japanese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese are welcome.

Literary Agency Full Circle Literary is now accepting submissions from writers and illustrators.

Jerry’s Art-A-Rama hosts a number of art contests, some ongoing and some requiring specific materials.

 

Longreads is accepting portfolio submissions from illustrators.

Lore Lush Publishing is seeking Cover Artists.

Narratively is seeking submissions of writing, photography, and illustrations

Robot Dinosaur Games is accepting artwork submissions for its upcoming anthology. They will pay $75 per piece.
